PROFILE
Leo Hajducki (she/they) is a curator, artist, writer, and organiser based in Glasgow. Their practice moves between sound, storytelling, and site-specific research, often exploring deep time, extractivism, social justice, neurodivergence, and ecological entanglements. They are a Director at Woom Room Workshops, an artist-led CIC supporting access to space, skill-sharing, and collective organising, a member of Neuk Collective, the Scottish Contemporary Art Network and the British Art Network.
Leo is currently undertaking an MLitt in Curatorial Practice (Contemporary Art) at the University of Glasgow and Glasgow School of Art. Their recent work includes the project Do Rocks Remember Lava?—a multisensory curatorial publication and sonic launch probing geological memory and agency through collaboration with artists, performers, geologists and people who love rocks. In 2023, they co-curated Synaesthesia at Summerhall, an immersive exhibition centring the work of 21 neurodivergent artists on the themes of sensory stimulation, mental health and the mind.
With a background in Philosophy and Politics from the University of Edinburgh, Leo's work is rooted in ecological, feminist, anti-capitalist, and decolonial approaches. They bring experience in grassroots organising, food justice, accessibility, policy making, and climate action, with past work spanning student unions, housing co-ops, experimental music festivals, and care-based collectives. Across their projects, Leo seeks to build adaptive, accessible, and interdependent infrastructures that challenge extractive norms and amplify marginalised voices.

VolunteeringDemonstrated long-standing commitment to environmental sustainability and climate justice through diverse roles including policy co-author on climate justice for Small Island Developing States with the Buchanan Institute (2022), outreach coordinator for grassroots environmental advocacy in Edinburgh (2019), and sustainable farming practitioner at Solscape Organic Farm in New Zealand (2016). These experiences deepened my understanding of regenerative practices, policy change, food sovereignty, and community organising.
